Best day of my life

Yesterday, the 19th, around 9 am, my panties felt wet. Panties and shorts were completely soaked. My water broke. Weirdest feeling ever. Seriously felt like I peed my pants. About an hour later, we made it to the hospital where I was told that it was, in fact, my water and that I was in labor. Everything started feeling real at that moment. I knew I had a long road ahead of me before I met Amelia. Around 4 pm, I needed my first shot of pain medication. Boy, did I feel good then. Couple hours later, I needed more. Around 1 am, this morning, I needed an epidural. I was in so much pain, yet I was only 1 cm dilated. Finally, though, got about an hour or 2 of sleep. I was awake for some time but didn't check the time until 3:30 am. Then I started to have the urge to go to the bathroom, so I called my nurse to the room to tell her. She, of course, checked me to see if it was that or that Amelia was ready. Well, she was. I just remember the nurse saying "Its baby time." Now, what's funny? My mother was passed out until the nurse said those words and mommy woke up instantly. Either way, the got me ready and I started pushing. I pushed for maybe a half hour before my miracle came out. Sadly, that's when the issues started. I didn't know before, but apparently her cord was wrapped around her neck and she was blue. Thankfully, no one told me this until much later. This wasn't the only issue though. She was having issues breathing. Something called oxygen saturation. She has been in NICU since 11 am this morning. Thankfully, she is doing much better. She's finally pink and breathing. She has an oxygen tube and a feeding tube. I know she is in good hands, but I want my baby with me. Just have to remember that they're doing everything the can to make it so she can come home in a few days. I'll update again soon.
